I grew up in a northern Virginia suburb of DC, where I witnessed democracy in action and Pat Buchanan in shorts. I spent summers in high school studying at the Shakespeare Theatre of DC, where I discovered my love of heightened language and classical theatre. I also trained as a singer and performed in musicals before deciding to focus on acting. I’ve lived in Chicago and NYC, performing in a variety of fringe and Off-Broadway venues, as well as studying at The Second City and Atlantic Theatre Company. At various times, I have also lived in Boston, London, and Moscow. I now live in LA and try not to be too suspicious of how friendly everyone is. MFA Acting, A.R.T./MXAT Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard. BFA Acting, Ithaca College.
